Shane Terrel is a graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is also a graduate of the Missouri Auction School, and additionally holds multiple awards from the School of Hard Knocks.
Mr. Terrel has been self-employed since the age of fifteen, when he and his brother Shawn purchased their first Gleaner combine and started a custom harvesting business. The Terrel Brothers spent their summers pursuing the wheat harvest from Texas to North Dakota. After high school in Carmen Oklahoma Shane redirected his farming efforts on a more local basis concentrated on raising cattle and alfalfa while attending college.
Mr. Terrel is the founder and President of Hunting Country Real Estate and is active in negotiating land transactions across the United States. Mitchell Terrel is a graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Business. He is also a graduate of the Texas Auction Academy and responsible for Hunting Country’s Midwest Operations in Kansas and Oklahoma.
Mr. Terrel has been self-employed since the age of fifteen, when he purchased his first tractor & baler to start a custom baling business. At the age of seventeen he purchased a subscription-based legal publication company known as “the public record bulletin” providing reports (to attorneys, lenders and investors) on oil & gas production, drilling permits, leases, deeds, mortgages and other legal filings.
Mitchell brings value to the Hunting Country team on many levels. He is an avid outdoorsman active in hunting, fishing, golfing and training birddogs. He is also active in building and design; completing multiple construction projects from barns to new homes. He has one of the most impressive “transaction history” and “clients & references” portfolio of any land professional in the Midwest.
Mitchell is a 5th generation farmer passionate about his rural culture; a good steward to the land & wildlife. He appreciates the value in a hard-day’s-work, as much as he does a well-trained birddog.

Todd Lewis brings a diversified aspect to our team having knowledge of both agriculture and hunting. Since 1990 Mr. Lewis has been involved in agriculture on the family farm and ranch raising cattle and growing a variety of crops. In 1998 the family expanded into the Outfitting business with their own guided hunting service know as 7L Hunting. Currently these businesses are operated by four generations of Mr. Lewis’s family.
Mr. Lewis has previously served as a Board of Director for the Kansas Sport Hunting Association, a member of the Meade County Kansas Economic Development Board and as a volunteer fireman.
In addition to his active role in marketing real estate Mr. Lewis manages operations and marketing for their family farm and hunting operations with his wife, Brenda and their three daughters Elizabeth, Bailey and Bristol. The Lewis family are Life-long residents of the area and reside in Fowler Kansas.
Brenda Lewis has been in the farm & ranch industry her entire life. As a youth she was active in the 4H Horse project, breaking and training horses for the 2-year-old snaffle bit project in the Kansas State Fair. Mrs. Lewis is “Mom” to 3 girls; Elizabeth, Bailey and Bristol and “Wife” of 23 years to TW Lewis (also an associate of Hunting Country Real Estate). Brenda is a full partner in their family farming and ranching operation known as Windy Rio Ranch and the active midwife for the entire herd of cows and chief nursemaid of the baby calves. Additionally, Brenda manages the financial side of the operation, as well as physically operating all machinery & equipment needed to get the job done from hot shots, calf pullers, swathers, balers, combines and trucks; and has been a vital component to the family’s Guided Hunting business for over 20 years. She’s no stranger to hard work, and she appreciate a cold beer at the end of the day. Brenda is passionate about marketing land and holds an exceptional level of knowledge for land uses, including crops, hay, cattle and hunting, but is most proud of her cultural background as a farmer and very proud to help feed the world through her efforts. Brenda’s 3 daughters could tell you that “Mom is a badass” who works hard, loves deeply, and would go to the end of the earth for them. She operates with the same passion for her clients, which makes her an invaluable asset to our team of professionals.
Bret Horn is a graduate of the Texas Auction Academy and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
Mr. Horn has spent the greater part of his professional career in the farm & ranch industry. He is also active in the oil & gas industry with experience in production as well as midstream.

Steven Ward is a graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservational Law Enforcement. His studies concentrated on Wildlife Conservation.
Mr. Ward served over 10 years in law enforcement across northwest Oklahoma. In addition to his real estate activities he is also active in the oil & gas industry supervising environmental and safety measures.
Steven is an avid outdoorsman passionate about hunting and fishing. He also raises registered Red Angus cattle. His real estate investments include farm & ranchland and commercial storage facilities. Steven and his wife Sara live in Alva Oklahoma with their 2 children, Dalen and Evan.
Ryan Choate is a Graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor Degree in Wildlife Ecology. His studies include work in the wildlife industry as an intern for the Oklahoma Wildlife Department participating in projects with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and experience as a Field Producer for a television hunting show.
Growing up in the Oil & Gas rich areas of Hennessey and Enid Oklahoma permitted Mr. Choate opportunities in the energy play across much of northern and central Oklahoma. In addition to his career in real estate Mr. Choate operates an oil field services company working with his family in the Oil & Gas industry.

Mark Buck is a graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Education.Mr. Buck has been an avid outdoorsman all his life and loves hunting and fishing.With years of experience working on farms and ranches, Mark is well-equipped to assist will you farm/ranch marketing needs and understand the value of a hard day’s work.He has been in the education field for many years and knows the importance of honesty and building relationships. Additionally, Mr. Tucker provides multi-level risk management services to the farm and ranch community through his own crop insurance company (AgriSurance Inc). Matt is a 4th generation farmer, rancher, and entrepreneur; and comes from a long line of successful business forefathers that operated in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas.
Matt, and his wife Alysson, live in Alva, Oklahoma with their three boys, Weston, Wyatt, and Wade. Matt spends his free time coaching and chasing his boys in every sport.
Travis Clark was born and raised in Central Florida. He is an avid outdoorsman fishing fresh, brackish, and salt water his entire life. He has hunted alligators, whitetails, and hogs since he was old enough to carry a gun. His love for whitetails, eventually drove him to Georgia and South Carolina in search of bigger and heavier deer. It wasn’t until he came out west, and laid his eyes on a few Midwest Giants, that his life would change forever. He loved Midwest Whitetail Hunting so much, he has since bought a farm, improved it, and has been hunting and managing it so that he can now have some big deer of his own.
Mr. Clark is also employed as a Veteran Firefighter for the United States Space Force at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. His extensive relationships across the U.S. gives him the ability to network with hunters and investors up and down the east coast, as well as the central parts of the country. He loves sharing stories and photos to his friends & family and bringing them out to see the wildlife and farming territories the Midwest has to offer.Travis has been married to his wife Tina for 15 years. Now they enjoy traveling and making trips out to their farm to get away and maintain their property. The Clark Family divides their time between the Southeastern and the Midwestern states.
Aaron lives in Balko, Ok. With his wife Misty. They have raised their three daughters: Rylee, Sawyer, & Hudson in Balko since 2004. Aaron was raised in a small town in East Texas. His parents taught him the importance of God, family, friends, and a strong work ethic. This is where he began enjoying hard work, hunting, and fishing. Helping his family with farming & ranching fueled his appreciation for land ownership and being a good steward of Gods’ country.
Aaron became a certified welder in 1996. He moved into the telecommunications industry in 2000. For the past 10 years he has been in the oil & gas industry. Specifically, production, automation, & gas measurement.
Aaron has lived across this country from Arizona to New York. Hunting, fishing, & “Livin” along the way. He has found his spot in the Plains and is proud to call Balko, Ok. Home.
Cody Conrad grew up and currently lives in Wellington, Kansas with his wife Savannah and three beautiful children, Kade, Kohen, and Rynley.
At a young age, Cody’s father introduced the great outdoors to he and his brothers, and Cody has been an avid outdoorsman since. Being able to have a childhood growing up in the outdoors has given Cody the love and passion for hunting and fishing, which he passes on for his children. His love for Whitetail Deer hunting has grown so much over the years that he is continuously finding ways to better manage and improve the properties that he is blessed to hunt. Cody takes every hunting season as a learning experience to improve the next year. If it’s not hunting season, its fishing season. Fishing was another part of Cody’s childhood that has followed him all the way through to adulthood. He is an avid fisherman competing in several tournaments every year, and continuing the family tradition of fishing with his children.
Wade Kirk is a third-generation auctioneer and life-long farmer-rancher born in Bucklin, Kansas. Mr. Kirk comes from a long line of farm & ranch auctioneers and real estate professionals serving clients across Kansas and Oklahoma.He has been directly involved in the operations and management of the real estate and auction business for over 20 years.
